PRE CONSTRUCTION CONFERENCE

We will assist during the pre construction conference to ensure your specification and the awarded vendor’s proposal both match and that the manufacturer is clear on what is to be built.  Attention to details is a top priority when building custom fire apparatus.

QUALITY ASSURANCE INSPECTIONS

We will accompany your committee on the new apparatus mid/chassis and or final inspection, or will conduct it on your behalf, before its acceptance to ensure the manufacturer has fulfilled their obligations to provide a high quality product.

Our level of detail in inspecting apparatus is second to none! Our extensive experience working with several major apparatus manufacturers allows us the knowledge to know where to look and know what we are looking at.

USED TRUCK INSPECTIONS

Is your department/agency/town contemplating buying a used fire apparatus but are unsure of its condition? We will travel to the location where the truck is located and do a comprehensive evaluation. We will drive and pump the apparatus checking all components, including valves and linkage, generators, lighting and chassis/body for signs of corrosion.  We will also check all major mechanical components and offer to have engine oil samples tested.  A detailed report on our findings will be presented along with any recommendations on repairs needed to ensure the truck meets all established safety standards.  Our service includes an on-site inspection by one of our certified EVT mechanics.
