Apparatus Training
For new apparatus dealers who are delivering a truck or fire departments taking delivery of a new truck, we will conduct an in-service operational overview of your truck starting at the very basics, turning on the batteries and starting the truck to engaging the fire pump and using the electronic governor. This can be a one, two or three day program, depending on the fire department’s needs and number of attendees.
Equipment Training
For departments needing a refresher on the use and operation of their existing firefighting nozzles, master stream monitors and or foam eductors we offer seminars on reviewing your existing equipment per the manufacturers recommendations. All can be separate or given together over several days. We discuss the pros and cons of the specific products your department currently uses. These seminars can have both an indoor classroom and an outdoor evolution segment if desired.
Used Truck Inspections
Are you contemplating buying a used fire apparatus but are unsure of it’s condition? We will travel to the location where the truck is located on your behalf and do a complete evaluation. We will drive and or pump the apparatus checking all components including valves and linkage, generators, lighting, and chassis/body for signs of corrosion. Our service also includes an on-sight evaluation by one of our certified mechanics.
